The School

Giggleswick is a co-educational boarding and day school situated in the stunning rural location of the Yorkshire Dales.

School Life

The House system is at the heart of Giggleswick life. We have 4 boys’ houses and 2 girls’ houses plus a Junior house for both boys and girls in years 7 & 8.

Academic

At Giggleswick School we teach a high quality, broadly traditional curriculum.

Outside Class

We offer a wide range of sports as well as a varied array of outdoor pursuits and a Combined Cadet Force.

Giggleswick School is an independent co-educational day and boarding school situated in the stunning rural location of the Yorkshire Dales, England, within walking distance of the popular market town of Settle and just over an hour from both Leeds, Harrogate and Manchester. With 400 pupils aged 11 to 18 the Senior School is large enough to offer a wide variety of teaching and learning opportunities, but small enough to offer close tutorial support, small classes and opportunities for everyone to get into sports teams or to take part in music, art, drama, outdoor pursuits and all the other activities we offer.
