The annual Carr House Charity Ball has become an event not to be missed in the Giggleswick calendar and this year’s jungle-themed dinner proved to be another roaring success!
The dining hall was transformed into a tropical paradise with 150 guests from Year 8 to Year 11 enjoying a glittering night of entertainment and adventure organised by the Upper Sixth. A particular highlight of the evening was the ‘Bush Tucker Trial’ dessert - a delicious challenge for the young diners.
Exceptional leadership and commitment from the sixth formers created a night to remember, with ticket sales raising money in aid of ‘Young Minds’, the UK's leading charity fighting for children and young people's mental health.
Carr Housemistress, Hannah Wright, said “It was great to see everyone having such a great time and I am really impressed with how well the Sixth Form organised such a successful event, raising money that will benefit a very deserving cause. A big thank you to the catering department for the amazing food too!"
