Giggleswick School is looking for an Admissions Registrar to manage, promote & develop the school’s admissions process ensuring a professional, warm, welcoming service for prospective parents, pupils, feeder schools, agents and the wider public.

 

The post holder will monitor and review policy and practice and be responsible for managing the complete admissions cycle.

Accordion Alumni & Community Relations Officer

We are seeking a dynamic Alumni & Community Relations Officer to help build relations and maximise our engagement with our alumni (Old Giggleswickians) and  the wider community of Giggleswick School (COGS). The post holder will coordinate a programme of communications and events to help our alumni, parents, staff and friends of Giggleswick keep in touch with the School and with each other.

 

Good networking and communication skills are essential, along with a flair for events, reunions, friend-raising and fundraising. Proactive and a team player, you will have experience in a similar environment or similar role, with a successful track record in managing events and coordinating a regular programme of communications and news through both digital and more traditional offline channels.

Accordion Early Years Practitioner

Giggleswick School are looking for a full time Early Years Practitioner to join our existing team in providing a high standard of education and care in a stimulating environment. 

 

We are looking for a professional Early Years Practitioner who can contribute to and support the aims of the school and provide an outstanding experience for our children.

 

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • A relevant childcare qualification & understanding of safeguarding issues

  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in Early Years

  • Excellent communication & organisational skills

  • Reliable and with a willingness and ability to be flexible

Accordion Apprentice IT Systems Technician

Starting Date: ASAP

 

Starting Salary: Apprenticeship

 

Contract: Full time 35 hours a week

We are looking for an Apprentice IT Systems Technician who will install and maintain computer systems and networks. They will also educate users on how to work with the computers or software provided optimizing the role of technology within the school.

 

The successful candidate must have good knowledge of computer software and hardware, networks and operating systems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for IT, be a quick learner, be inquisitive, demonstrate great attention to detail as well as a desire to help others.
