Accordion Resident Theatre Practitioner

An opportunity has arisen in the Giggleswick Drama Department for a Resident Theatre Practitioner.


This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented, flexible theatre maker to develop their skills working with 11-18 year olds in a fast-paced, innovative, professional and supportive environment.


You will support the curricular and co-curricular work of the department, helping to inspire and deliver a range of creative activities and shows: a willingness to contribute to all aspects of theatre production is essential. This is a residential post and includes some evening and weekend duties within a boarding house for those suited to a boarding role.

Accordion Netball Coach

Giggleswick School is seeking to appoint an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Netball Coach, to coach the Girls Netball Teams from January 2018 until end of March 2018 (10 hours per week).  


We run 9 teams across all year groups who play in fixtures on a weekly basis. 


We are looking for the right coach to continue improving the skills of the girl’s ranging in ages from 11 to 18 years.


You will, first and foremost, be an energetic sportsperson and an experienced Netball player, ideally with a Level 2 coaching qualification.  


The ability to work as part of a team is vital, as you will work closely with the Director of Sport, as well as all other staff involved in coaching and managing teams in both the Senior and Junior Schools. 


Meals are provided during working times and accommodation can be provided if required.

Accordion Part Maths Teacher

Giggleswick School is seeking to appoint an outstanding part time teacher of Mathematics on a temporary contract with effect from April 2018 (or sooner if available).  The successful candidate will be a dynamic and engaging teacher with the ability to teach from KS3 to GCSE.  They will have the passion and expertise to deliver first class teaching which will ensure all pupils make excellent progress.


The senior school has a growing reputation for achieving excellent academic results and the successful candidate will be expected to continue to build upon this recent success. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and NQTs with industry experience.
