Business Studies AS and A2 level are popular courses amongst the Giggleswick Sixth Form.
There are two sets in each of the sixth form year groups.
No previous study of Business is required but you should be interested in the world of business, and be prepared to put your own ideas down on paper, knowing that they might be wrong. It is worth pointing out that Sir Richard Branson didn’t do Business Studies A level, but if you share his flair, desire and flexibility then this could be the course for you. The Department follows the AQA syllabus. The subject is taught by two specialist full time teachers who teach only Business Studies and Economics. There is no coursework.
