Our Easter courses are available for 7 to 11 year olds and are packed with fun and engaging projects to keep children active and entertained during the Easter break. Our stunning location, knowledgeable staff and excellent facilities provide the perfect base and opportunity to get creative in art and craft, cookery, drama and dance or to explore the outdoors with bush craft skills, geocaching, team games and adventure sports.
We also offer two Sports Academies (Hockey and Cricket) aimed at 11 to 16 year olds which are run by professional England coaches and International players.
The courses are designed to suit all levels of ability and are open to all children, including boys and girls who are not pupils at the school. Day and residential options are available, and children are cared for in a safe and secure environment under the watchful eye of our experienced coaches and pastoral staff.
Courses are four days per week from 9am – 5pm. Discretionary part week places may be available on some courses (please email to enquire).

One of our most popular courses promises to deliver again this year with a skills-packed teaching programme to cover defending, attacking, passing and receiving techniques, along with the tactics and strategies for set pieces, penalty corners and conditioned games.
As the title suggests, this course is adventurous and action-packed. Many activities will be weather dependent, so we roll with the Northern climes and choose daily activities to fit the conditions. Come dressed for adventure and eat an extra Weetabix for breakfast – you’re going to need stamina, dexterity, sharp wit and a good cagoule! Adventures may require your quick-thinking, problem-solving brain while geocaching or treasure hunting, or your physical strength and skill on the mountain bike track or tree climbing mission. If we cannot be outside, we come in to play team games, plan a route to navigate on the next adventure, or test your appetite for heights on our indoor climbing wall.
Course content will be delivered mainly outdoors, with indoor activities when the weather is poor, and will include a selection of the following:
- Scavenger hunting
- Campfire activities
- Nature walk
- Tree climbing
- Slackline walking
- Bow and arrow making
- Den building
- Mountain biking
