Style House, named after the eminent Headmaster George Style, is one of the two girls’ Houses.  It is situated on Raines Road, within its own attractive grounds and very close to all school amenities. Style House was founded in the 1930s as Giggleswick's Prep school before the purchase of Catteral Hall, and then became a boys’ boarding House until the late 1980s.  The House underwent a major refurbishment in 1997 with the addition of new common rooms and a library.

Up to 60 girls live in Style.  On entry into the House in Year 9, the girls share small dormitories, which facilitates the integration progress and allows them to get to know each other. From Year 10 they are likely to share double study bedrooms until the Sixth Form. All U6th formers have their own single study bedroom.

The House has a large common room with attached kitchen area which is used for all House meetings; it is also the social centre of the House, where visitors from other Houses are very welcome in the evenings. There is also a comfortable television room and library (with full computer access) which are for the private use of the girls. Style aims to provide a stimulating, safe and homely environment for teenage girls to grow towards adulthood in the slightly unusual setting of a boarding school.
