Now in its 500th year, Giggleswick School is well-established worldwide as one of Britain's top boarding schools. Its first class boarding, teaching and sporting facilities makes it the perfect place for boys and girls aged 11 - 16 to improve their English and make new friends. The School is located in the North of England, just one hour from Manchester International airport. It is within walking distance of the market town of Settle, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
The course itself is an intensive English language programme for 11 – 16 year olds. Each day is different but a normal weekday consists of English language tuition in the mornings, fun exercises before lunch, a choice of sporting, adventurous and cultural activities in the afternoons and a full evening social programme. There are local trips on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and full day excursions over the weekend. - Duration: 3 weeks running from 11 July – 3 August 2012
