The school has extensive ICT facilities including four main computer rooms, 170 pupil-access PCs across the site, networked colour copier/printer/scanners, 30 classrooms with data projectors, interactive whiteboards and shared file storage.
All pupils have a level of Internet access appropriate to their age group. Senior boarding houses have network connections in almost all study bedrooms for e-mail, school intranet and filtered Internet access and pupils may bring in their own laptop computer.
The use of ICT is part of the way of life at Giggleswick and is integrated fully into teaching, learning and social activities. All pupils have access to a school e-mail account and are encouraged to communicate with parents via this method, as well as through other online services, such as Skype.
