Revision Courses

A choice of 1,2 and 3 day GCSE and A level courses are available for students to make significant progress in their studies.

GCSE revision courses

AS revision courses

A2 revision courses

The dates of each course are detailed on the course pages and within the registration forms with students being able to tailor each week to meet their exact needs. Students can focus on one subject for the three days for maximum impact or combine a number of subjects over the three days (one subject only per day).

Week 1: 4 April - 6 April 2017 (inclusive)

Week 2: 11 April - 13 April 2017 (inclusive)

Nearly all courses are taught by our own experienced teaching staff, many of whom are GCSE and A level examiners, and all of whom teach a wide range of academic ability in their specialist subjects on a daily basis.

Our revision courses are taught in small groups so candidates commit fully to an intensive period of work. When booking, we ask students to identify their exact needs as much as possible and to provide detailed information on their requested topics.  This way teachers can prepare in advance and ensure each individual gets the most from their course.

The quality of boarding at Giggleswick is outstanding. Live-in house parents make sure that students have everything they need, are well fed and well-cared for 24 hours a day. Students live in single sex areas in well-maintained and homely boarding houses. There are single, double and dormitory rooms. Any medical needs are looked after by the school's Welfare Officer, who is qualified in First Aid.

All meals are eaten in the school's modern dining hall. Food is cooked on the premises and there are hot and cold options at all meal times. Refreshments are available at break times and before bed time. All diets and allergies can be catered for.
