Entrance & Scholarship Information

Scholarship Information Event 1

If you would like to find out more about our entrance examinations and scholarships programme we would encourage you to get in touch as soon as possible. Scholarships are available from Year 7 up to Sixth Form. We will explain what it means to be a Scholar at Giggleswick and take you through the scholarship and entrance application and the assessment process, that begins at the end of January.

Scholarship assesments and entrance examinations will be held on the following dates:

Year 7 - Monday 23 January & Tuesday 24 January 2017

Year 9  - Tueday 28th February & Wednesday 1st March 2017

Lower Sixth - Tueday 28th February & Wednesday 1st March 2017

If you haven’t visited us before, it is also an opportunity to book an individual visit. This enables you to see the school in action, meet our teachers, the Headmaster and take a tour around the school with one of our sixth formers.

What makes a Giggleswick Scholar?

A Giggleswick Scholar is a boy or girl who can demonstrate the potential to make a specific contribution to the intellectual, sporting, musical, dramatic or creative life of the School. Scholars are expected to uphold the highest standards and be prepared to act as positive role models for others within the School community.

We offer Academic, All-Rounder, Music and Sport scholarships into Year 7,9 and Lower Sixth. Art scholarships into Year 9 and Lower Sixth and Design and Drama scholarships into the Lower Sixth.
