Euan selected to represent England

Euan Brennan, Morrison, Y11, recently competed in the U19 England selection race at Hutton Roof and we are very proud to announce that, after winning, he has gained automatic selection to represent England in the European Mountain Running Youth Cup.

The race will be held in Italy on 26 June and Euan will be part of a team of four. Euan said of the achievement "I went to the race hoping to get into the top four so to have won feels really good. The whole team are pretty close as we have been racing together all season so going to Italy should be pretty fun! It feels like such an achievement after I missed the trial race last year."

In addition to this achievement Euan and Tom Humphries, Paley, Y11, ran in the final race of the FRA English Championships on Saturday. Euan finished first in the league and is officially the U17 English Fell Champion and Tom finished seventh. Both boys have had a terrific running season, congratulations all the training has clearly paid off!
