We launch our Adult Courses for 2017

Active Outdoors 1 new

Brand new for summer 2017, we are delighted to launch a series of short courses for adults: Wellness Week and Active Outdoors. Not only is this a chance to learn something new, take a break or hone your skills, but it is an opportunity to spend time in the stunning setting of Giggleswick and meet other, like-minded people.

With years of experience designing and hosting courses for young people, our adult courses are designed to give grown-ups a chance to take time-out and have fun too, during a week in the summer where the entire campus is devoted to courses for adults. Both courses take place from 7 – 11 August (Active Outdoors begins on 8 August) with day and residential options available. You can sign up to one full course or tailor make your experience by choosing which half-day sessions from both courses you would like to take part in. So whether you’ve read about our new climbing wall and would like the chance to learn techniques on it before progressing to a nearby crag or want to learn more about nutrition and kick start your fitness regime with pilates we have a session for you.

Sessions have been developed to take advantage of the best Giggleswick has to offer, making the most of the School’s stunning surroundings and high-quality facilities. Lifestyle Consultant and OG Chair Leslie Lockyear has found a number of experts for all aspects of the Wellness Week while highly qualified outdoor pursuits instructor, John Kettle, will personally lead a number of the sessions on the Active Outdoors week.

Take part in a half-day session for £50 or stay for a full course with accommodation at the School for £500 - £625.
