Last year’ 1st XI Cricket Captain, Will Davidson, travelled to London with Director of Sport, David Muckalt, to receive the 40 Club North West District Award for the school team best displaying the traditional values of cricket.
The award was presented by BBC Sport presenter, former Oxford University Cricket Blue, and Strictly Come Dancing winner Chris Hollins. David Muckalt was delighted with the award saying, “We actively promote the importance of sportsmanship, respect, high standards and good manners at Giggleswick. To receive an award for it is simply the icing on the cake.”
