Sixth former Terrence Tang has successfully auditioned for the Bachelor of Music (Hons) Programme in the School of Keyboard Studies at the Royal Northern College of Music.
In addition to this already considerable honour, he has been awarded a scholarship for the duration of the course.
Terrence has delighted audiences at Giggleswick concerts, including the evenings of Christmas music held in the Chapel last month, with his performances on the piano.
Says Giggleswick’s Director of Music Darren Everhart, “Terrence is an outstanding musician and was a worthy winner of our Young Musician of the Year competition in 2011. We wish him all the best in his ambition to become a concert pianist”.
