From the first day a student enters the sixth form at Giggleswick we support, inform and guide them on all options available to them beyond school including UCAS, CUKAS, Art Foundation, school leaver programmes, studying abroad at both American and European universities, gap years and apprenticeships.
Pupils can select their own personal tutor to help support them throughout their journey. All pupils take part in a dedicated Careers Week aimed at informing them of the options available. They will also receive guidance on how to write an effective CV, embark on a number of formal interviews and listen to representatives from universities, gap year providers, school leaver programmes and apprenticeships. Throughout the year, all sixth formers take part in a weekly lecture programme, which gives them the opportunity to hear from a diverse range of speakers.
