English Schools XC Cup - Laurence Jackson School, Guisborough.
The Junior Girls' team (Year 7 & 8) were all smiles (see photo) prior to finishing second placed team in the North East regional round of the English Schools' Cross Country Cup.
This is the first race they have not won this season but they were sandwiched between schools of 800+ girls and 1500+ pupils!
They have now qualified for the National Finals being held in Rugby on 3 December, along with the other of the top 24 teams in the country - where the competition will be fierce.
