Home matches vs Ampleforth.

U15a  won
39-1

U14a  won
27-7

Match report:
Winning the toss gave us great hope for the season ahead of us. Starting with a new team of just seven with no reserves was a big difference to us. Using the first centre pass as an advantage to us we scored the first goal very quickly. At the end of the first quarter we were 9-3 up. In the second quarter Ampleforth came back strong and determined to catch up, but at the end it was 12-5 to Gigg. In the third quarter we had a bit of a change around with the positions realising that we weren’t as strong, only shooting 2 goals in that quarter and Ampleforth shooting one. The fourth quarter we were determined to make the final score 25 goals to us.  By making good space and intercepting we made the final score 27-7 to us. It is a great start to the season and great effort from the whole team. Newcomer Kitty Stevenson, defender Georgina Thursby and centre Olivia May stood out to make the players of the match.
