In Years 7, 8 and 9 we aim to give a substantial amount of time to the core subjects whilst maintaining breadth.
Biology, Chemistry and Physics are taught separately by subject specialists. Pupils in Year 7 will have the opportunity to try French, Spanish, German and Latin, continue with three of these in Year 8 and two in Year 9.In addition to core subjects, all pupils will study Design Technology, Drama, ICT, RE, Music and Art, and have one period of Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) a week.
Pupils will be set according to their ability in Maths, Science, French and where possible, Geography and History.
