We welcome visits from prospective parents and pupils on any day during term time, including Saturday mornings.
A typical visit would include a meeting with the Headmaster, followed by a tour of the School, normally with a Sixth Form pupil, and an opportunity to talk to one of our Housemasters or Housemistresses. If you wish to make an appointment for a visit, please contact: Mrs Dorothy Lambert, Registrar, 01729 893005.
Prospective pupils who have visited the School are welcome to come back for a "taster day" or a "boarding taster". This way they can experience Giggleswick, both in terms of teaching and learning, and also sample some of the other activities that go on outside class.
We also have Open Mornings which provide prospective parents and pupils with an opportunity for an informal visit to the school.
"We had a fantastic visit - all of the staff and pupils were extremely helpful, pro-active, friendly, understanding and I came away from there knowing that we will not have to worry about our daughter living away from home or without her family. The housemistress and matron for her house were lovely, lovely people and she was accepted by pupils and support staff alike from the moment that we arrived. The headmaster gave us more of his time than we probably deserved. I cannot commend the School enough." Expatriate family living in the Middle East.
