Giggleswick School is a mile from the market town of Settle just off the A65 which runs north west from Leeds via Horsforth, Yeadon, Guiseley, Ilkley and Skipton and onto Ingleton and Kirkby Lonsdale before terminating in Kendal in Cumbria. The A59 offers excellent connections from York and Harrogate to Clitheroe and Blackburn. The School is clearly signposted and parking is available. Sat Nav users, use post code BD24 0DE.

By Rail

We are near Settle Train Station and Giggleswick Train Station. Settle Station sits on the line that operates between Leeds and Carlisle, Giggleswick Station sits on the line between Leeds and Morecambe via Skipton. Connections from these stations are available across the UK and internationally with Eurostar.

By Air

Giggleswick is served by three major airports: Manchester, Leeds Bradford, and Liverpool John Lennon. All offer schedule and charter flights, with connections from London airports. They are accessible from Giggleswick School in just over an hour by road. Our Transport Manager can organise airport transfers for pupils, including for unaccompanied minors, using our fleet of minibuses and drivers.

With many day pupils and flexi boarders travelling to Giggleswick from Lancaster, Harrogate, Kendal, Skipton, Ilkley, Leeds, Manchester and beyond, we provide a daily return bus service on eight routes, covering up to a 50-minute drive-time radius of the school.

The routes include Levens via Kirkby Lonsdale, Grassington, Foulridge, Colne, Barnoldswick, Clitheroe, Bolton by Bowland, the Lune Valley, and Menwith Hill, Blubberhouses, Gargrave. See the bus timetable below for full route details.
