How to apply

At Giggleswick we consider all applications for children who are able to benefit from our balanced well-rounded education.

The main points of entry at Giggleswick are Pre-school (Ages 2-4), Junior School (Reception to Year 6) and Senior School (Year 7, Year 9 and Sixth Form). We are also happy to consider pupils for entry into all other years subject to place availability.

We are not an academically selective school and tests are not required for entry into our pre-school or junior school. In the senior school we do normally require children at the key points of entry (Year 7, Year 9 and Sixth Form) to complete an entrance examination to formally assess and identify each child’s ability and potential.

Before applying, we would encourage you to arrange a visit. We have regular Open Days and events and the opportunity for individual visits and taster days throughout the year.

The School has an equal opportunities policy and will give consideration to any reasonable adjustments that may be required to enable a pupil with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to access the curriculum.
