At Giggleswick we consider all applications for children who would benefit from our balanced well-rounded education.

Admissions journey
"The support from the onboarding team at Giggleswick School has always been great throughout the whole admission process. You were always helpful and responded quickly to our questions, although these were very rare as the instructions what to do have always been very clear."

1. Register a place
The first step is to complete the registration form and return it to us, together with copies of the pupil’s last two school reports (translated into English), a handwritten personal statement by the child, a copy of their passport and the registration fee (£165).
2. Entrance tests
Students must complete our entrance tests in English and Mathematics. These tests must be taken under strict standards of supervision at the student’s present school, or at Giggleswick during a visit to the school.
3. Visit or interview
We encourage families to visit the school for interview if possible and pupils may stay overnight to get a better feel for boarding life at Giggleswick. A visit in person may not always be possible but you will always have a video call with our International Admissions Manager.
Each year we make visits to the Far East, the Middle East and Europe, and if a candidate's application coincides with our trip, we would love to meet you there in person.
4. Place offered
Once a student’s reports, tests and interview have been assessed, an offer of a place can be made. Acceptance of the place should be made within 3 weeks of the date of the offer letter. On acceptance of a place, an entry deposit is required to secure the place. This amount is refunded, minus any accrued sundries, at the end of a pupil's career at Giggleswick. Visit our fees page to find out more.
Usually, the minimum time a place will be offered for is one full academic year
5. VISA application
A student visa is required for all international students. A Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) to support visa applications will be issued for pupils once we have received the formal acceptance of the offer of a place, and the deposit payment has been received, together with the relevant documents required to issue the CAS.
