Frequently Asked Questions

How do I apply to Giggleswick School?

Applications follow four steps: visit the school (open day or personal visit), register by submitting a form, fee and school reports, sit entrance assessments and an interview, then receive and accept your offer. Pupils attending an entrance assessment are also invited to a taster day to experience a typical day at the school.

What is the registration fee?

The registration fee is £180 for the Senior School and £150 for the Prep School. This fee is non-refundable.

Is there a formal entrance exam?

Applicants sit assessments in English and Maths, followed by an interview with the Headmaster. These are designed to understand each pupil's current level — not to pass or fail them. A taster day typically follows.

What are the main entry points?

Applications are welcome throughout the year for all year groups, subject to availability.

What documents do I need to register?

You will need the completed Registration Form, the registration fee, your child's passport, and a recent school report.

Can we visit before applying?

Yes. You can attend an open event or arrange a private visit tailored to your family. Virtual consultations are also available. Contact the admissions team on admissions@giggleswick.org.uk or WhatsApp 07481 811223.
