Scholarships and Entrance
From the Royal Northern College of Music, Oxbridge and RADA to Veterinary School, Medical School or the Armed Forces – there is no limit to where a Giggleswick education can take you.

Our Scholars uphold the highest standards and act as positive role models for others within the school community.
We offer Academic, All-Rounder, Drama, Music and Sport scholarships into the three main senior entry points: Year 7, Year 9 and Sixth Form.
In addition we offer Art and Choral scholarships into Year 9 and Sixth Form, and Design scholarships into Sixth Form.
Scholarships carry a fee remission of 5–10%, recognising both achievement and the future impact the scholar will have on our community.
Scholarship & entrance assessment dates 2025/2026
For pupils joining us in September 2026, the scholarship and entrance assessment dates are:
Year 7 and 9 - Scholarship Assessments and Entrance Assessments Wednesday 21st January 2026
Year 7+ - Entrance Assessments Thursday 23 April, including Taster Day and Boarding

Bursarial assistance for scholars
If the award is insufficient for the child to take up the place offered, parents may apply for a means-tested bursary which can provide additional funding.
