“I always wanted to experience life in a boarding school in England, which is why Giggleswick’s Senior Immersion Programme caught my attention. It offers the perfect opportunity to meet new people and to make friends, to get to know a new culture and traditions and to improve your English skills."
What to expect
The Senior Immersion Programme will be open to international students in Years 7-10. Each student will be placed into one of Giggleswick’s boarding houses and will study, socialise, and thrive alongside the rest of our Giggleswick cohort of students.
Students will take part in a series of introductory sessions and immersion during their first week. They will then be placed and ‘fully immersed’ into classes and activities with other Giggleswick students within their year group for the remainder of their stay. They will also enjoy excursions, a variety of British sports, in-house social activities and expeditions through the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

"We were introduced to the Duke of Edinburgh's Award expedition. It was so cool…I´ve never done this. I really enjoyed seeing the school grounds. I wouldn’t have expected it to be this big, there were large fields with so many sweet sheep."
“I did an orienteering race with a friend from my boarding house. The goal was to practice reading a map for the final trail. We were first on the first stage of the race!"
How to apply
