On Saturday 6 June, Giggleswick Prep School welcomed adjudicator Philip Dewhurst for our annual Young Musician of the Year Competition.
Pupils from Year 2 to Year 6 took to the stage to perform in a variety of classes, demonstrating the musical skills and confidence they have developed throughout the year. The standard of performance was exceptionally high, and every participant should be immensely proud of their achievement.
Congratulations to Raphaelle in Year 6, who was named Young Musician of the Year following a captivating performance of Impromptu in G-sharp minor by Frédéric Chopin.
The competition was a wonderful celebration of music, commitment and performance, and a testament to the talent and dedication of our young musicians.
