Year 5 Residential at Bewerley Park

Our Year 5 pupils enjoyed an exciting overnight residential at Bewerley Park, embracing every challenge with courage, resilience and plenty of enthusiasm throughout their stay.

The adventure began with a visit to Brimham Rocks, where pupils scrambled across dramatic natural rock formations and tested their balance, confidence and teamwork in a stunning outdoor setting. Throughout the trip, they also took part in a range of adventurous activities including kayaking challenges and caving experiences, where they worked together to navigate water-filled passages and overcome obstacles beyond their comfort zones.

As evening set in, the adventure continued with an orienteering challenge, followed by a night walk through the woods.

The residential was a fantastic opportunity for pupils to develop independence, build resilience and strengthen friendships.
