Emma-Jane graduated from Cardiff University in 1993 with a BA Joint Honours in French and Spanish. As part of her degree course she spent time living and working in Paris, France and Santiago, Chile. Emma-Jane joined Giggleswick in January 1994 teaching both French and Spanish and working as a resident tutor in Style and then Carr, before taking over as Housemistress of the latter in 2000. After 17 years as Housemistress, Emma-Jane was appointed Head of Middle School, responsible for the academic progress of Years 9 to 11. Emma-Jane is now the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
