Favourite thing about Giggleswick

The sense of community, including strong links across the whole school; it is great to watch pupils make their journey from 2-18 and grow into well-rounded, articulate and skilled individuals when they leave for their life beyond school.

James completed his undergraduate degree in Law and Politics at Cardiff University in 2002. After working alongside the Welsh Assembly Government and volunteering in schools, James completed his Post Graduate Certificate of Education (Primary) in 2004. James has worked in various capacities at the school, including class teaching, sports coaching, resident House tutor, as well as both Deputy Head, and Head of the Prep School since 2014. James has sat on school governing boards in both the maintained and independent sector, with a particular focus in Academic development. From 2018, James has been a team inspector for the Independent Schools Inspectorate.
