Khashi joined Giggleswick School as Bursar and Chief Operating Officer after a 30-year career in the Army, where latterly he specialised in Defence level strategic planning and change management, and for which he was awarded an OBE in 2016 and a CBE in 2023. Khashi was educated at Stonyhurst College and St Benedict’s School, completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Hull (1993), his Master’s at Cranfied University (2004), and his Doctorate of Philosophy at King’s College, London (2021). He is married to Judy, has two grown up sons, three dogs, and a passion for history.
