The Senior Immersion Programme returns to Giggleswick School in 2024.

International students aged 11-15 can join us in the stunning Yorkshire Dales to improve their English, make friends, have fun, and immerse themselves into life at one of the UK's leading boarding schools.

“My daughter had a wonderful stay and came back transformed. Thank you so much, I am very grateful!”

What to expect

The Senior Immersion Programme will be open to international students in Years 7-10. Each student will be placed into one of Giggleswick’s boarding houses and will study, socialise, and thrive alongside the rest of our Giggleswick cohort of students.

Students will take part in an induction and a series of ‘English as an additional language’ (EAL) sessions during their first week. They will then be placed and ‘immersed’ into classes and activities with other Giggleswick students within their year group for the remainder of their stay. They will enjoy excursions and extracurricular activities, including our sports day and Giggleswick Gaggle: a whole school hike through the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

Most interviews will take place via video call with a member of our International Admissions Team. However, we do also welcome pupils to visit Giggleswick in person for interview if this is the preferred option.
