We believe that our School is a very special place. Our idyllic setting in the Yorkshire Dales gives life at Giggleswick a real sense of adventure and discovery, where children have the space and freedom to grow as individuals and develop a lifelong love of learning.
We are blessed with fantastic facilities and grounds, which provide endless opportunities for learning through discovery, forest school activities and fun. We also benefit from the use of the wider school’s theatre, chapel, sports grounds, swimming pool and design workshops. We were delighted to be voted ‘One of the UK’s Top 10 Best Value Prep Schools by The Telegraph, acknowledging our outstanding teaching and facilities alongside highly affordable fees.
Our key aim is to help each child realise their potential academically, intellectually, physically, aesthetically, culturally and spiritually. We look to develop our pupils into confident and compassionate young people who have the skills, knowledge and understanding to prepare them for the next stage in their life.
Small class sizes ensure that each child’s individual abilities are nurtured to the full and that they enjoy close personal relationships with their teachers, helping to build confidence and develop their talents. I am very lucky to have a dedicated and enthusiastic team of staff, who work very hard to ensure that every child feels valued and happy.
Children can join as day pupils across all years with flexi, full and occasional boarding options from the age of 9. This boarding ethos creates a unique homely feel and the extended day allows children the time for real enrichment with plenty of time to develop their personal interests in sport, music, drama or art.
