The Ghost of Giggleswick?

Wednesday 10 Jan 2018

Named in honour of the school's former members of staff and pupils who served in World War 1, the 5538 was built in 1933, but by 1962, 'Giggleswick' had succumbed to the scrapyard torch, along with her fellow Patriots. However, the new Patriot the 'Unknown Warrior' is nearing completion and the aim is to have it in running order to mark the centenary of the Armistice in November 2018.
