Year 13 pupils at Giggleswick School celebrate their A Level and BTEC success, with many now moving on to a wide variety of exciting and ambitious destinations. We are pleased to share that our A*-A equivalent results are 36%, with A*-C results at 86% and an overall pass rate of 99%.
This year’s results see our pupils embarking on diverse next steps, including red-brick and Russell Group universities such as Durham, Newcastle, Exeter, and Edinburgh, as well as securing highly sought-after Degree Apprenticeships with top employers such as Rolls-Royce, Jaguar Land Rover, and KPMG. These achievements are a reflection of the school’s ongoing commitment to excellent academic outcomes and personalised pathways for every pupil. In total, 46 pupils completed their A Levels, with future studies including:

- TEFL course leading to teaching English in Barcelona and Thailand

Year 11 pupils at Giggleswick School are celebrating an excellent set of GCSE results, with standout achievements across a wide range of subjects. Core academic areas including Languages, Humanities, Sciences, Drama, and Music showed particularly strong performance, delivering impressive Value Added scores with pupils achieving between half a grade and over a full grade higher than predicted.
A remarkable 34% of all GCSE grades awarded were 7–9, significantly above the national average. International pupils excelled once again, with 58% achieving top grades of 7–9, reflecting the global strength and academic support provided at the school.
Academic Scholars also impressed, achieving a 100% A–A pass rate* in the Higher Project Qualification (HPQ) - an advanced, independent research project that allows students to delve into a topic of personal academic interest.
These outcomes reflect Giggleswick School’s commitment to academic achievement, personalised support, and helping every pupil reach their full potential in preparation for further study.
