We are proud to announce that we have been presented with the Bronze Award for the RSPB Wild Challenge and are making good progress towards the Silver Award.
The Wild Challenge Award is a specially developed suite of activities created to engage children with nature and provide practical learning opportunities. Activities range from feeding and counting birds, to creating habitat heaps for a range of wildlife.
Over the course of the academic year, pupils across the school have worked hard to complete several activities that explore all aspects of the natural world, both locally and globally.
These activities were a great way to encourage pupils to spend time outdoors and keep active during the government lockdowns as well as to take time to consider our impact on our local environment. Since our return to campus pupils have been regenerating our planters and chicken area and have started work on creating a new area for rabbits.
