Introducing myself:

Since leaving Giggleswick in 2008, I studied at Newcastle University ahead of starting my career in social media. I live in South London with my wife, Rosie, a junior doctor, and our Sprocker Spaniel, Joni. I’m currently leading the Social Media team at Zwift, an indoor cycling app. As a keen cyclist and triathlete, I spend a lot of time on Zwift as well as running and cycling around the South East.

Outside of work I started a passion project in 2015 with some friends, Got To Tri: a triathlon training company which means I (usually) get to spend a portion of my year exploring the island of Mallorca by bike. Fun fact: I met a Giggleswickian on one of the camps!

What is my role and contribution to the OGC:

As the Young OG Governor (2016-18), I was able to reconnect with the School and offer my perspective as a millennial in the current working landscape. I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to engage with students, OGs and staff, while looking to the future success of the School.

A goal of mine is to help bridge the generations of OGs. As part of this, fellow OG James Burns (08 Paley) and I have created somewhat of a tradition, hosting drinks at Top Pitch during cricket on OG day.

How do I plan to make a difference:

In my role on the OG committee, I hope to continue to bring a slightly different perspective.
