Summarise your contribution to and role on the OGC during your most recent term as a committee member:

My name is Richard Warburton, but most people call me Dick. My involvement with the committee started in 2017, when Michael Barr asked me if I would like to become the President Elect. I was very honoured and have since become President Elect, President, Past President and I am now a member of the OG committee at present. I have inaugurated the Dog Show and Clay Pigeon Shoot, which takes place in the Summer Term. This is enjoyed by all, including parents, pupils and OGs. More importantly, this event raises around £500- £800 for the Bursary Fund.

I also help organise the annual OG Club Shoot, where a few OGs gather once a year and have a good day out. I have supported Mark Ehlinger with running events, including The Thames Hare and Hounds Alumni Race. I also ran Scarrig alongside Mark in preparation for the OG event that would have taken place in 2020, unfortunately this was cancelled. Hopefully, we can organise the same Scarrig run for OGs next year. I have met OGs, young and old, and have enjoyed their company. Going forward I wish to assist in setting up regional groups, which will help many OGs come together both in the UK and overseas.

How do I plan to make a difference:
