Silver award achieved in RSPB challenge
Ben Harris

We are proud to announce that the Junior and Pre-school have achieved Silver in the RSPB Wild Challenge. This is the result of work completed in our eco enrichment activity, gardening clubs and cross curricular opportunities.

The Bronze award saw pupils creating bug hotels, learning about and identifying wildlife in our local area, planting, and considering how we can have a direct affect now. The Silver award has seen our ideas expand to discussions with the Catering Department about food waste, bio-diversity plans, exploring habitats, as well as considering our impact on the local area and how this affects the wider world, with a focus on sustainability.

We are very excited to start working towards our Gold Award and are working in conjunction with the Senior School Eco Committee to ensure that as a School we are considering eco matters across the campus and for the world we live in.
