A wellbeing programme, daily tutorial sessions, hangouts, and guest speakers provide our students an invaluable opportunity to develop resilience, talk through any concerns or worries that they have, and stay connected with their peers.

Our pastoral care still has the same systems and structures with teachers, personal tutors and senior house staff all on hand to support alongside parents and guardians at home. Each pupil has regular access to their personal tutor and their Housemaster/mistress has complete oversight of their welfare, providing continuity in the multi-layered house and family feel our pupils and their families value so much.

As well as the small group tutorials, we have drop-ins and guest speakers on a range of topics, such as ‘dealing with isolation’, and ‘strategies to reduce screen time’.

We continue to run our Curriculum for Life programme tailored to the challenges of the current climate and consequences upon different year groups.

Don’t forget to hangout

Hangouts are an important opportunity to meet up and chat with classmates and friends online during the day. It is a great way to informally discuss work, share ideas, get help and give support to others.

What do our parents think?

"It was lovely to hear my children laughing and chatting to their friends even though they were miles apart. Great provision Giggleswick, well done."
